S18 Photography – Newborn, Portrait, & Wedding Photography
Anyone who knows us, knows that our photography is super versatile. We’ve done everything from newborn photography & maternity photography to portraiture & wedding photography. We’ve even photographed multi-million dollar real estate and put on some awesome photo booths.
Recently, however, we decided that we really wanted to focus our efforts a bit. We figured it would best help us to serve our clients, if we could really get behind what we really believe… stuff we really stand for at our core.
When it comes to choosing a photographer, we really believe that the answer to “Why should I hire you?” shouldn’t simply be “Uh… umm… well, we take good pictures.” It has to be more than that. Photography should have a meaning and a purpose. We want you to know what it is that we can provide that is so unique, so we decided to shake things up a bit. So, we’re introducing our new brands…
Newborn Photography. Katie creates exceptional newborn photography. Our new website www.s18newborns.com will focus exclusively on her newborn sessions (and sessions that might complement it really well – maternity, etc.) Here’s why you should hire Katie for your newborn session:
Katie gets it. She’s a mom, and she understands the tidal wave of conflicting emotions that goes into having a newborn. She understands that this time is fleeting, and you need someone who can capture it in all its beauty & perfection. Katie is a calming force. Caring & nurturing, it’s pretty amazing to see her in action. With unmatched patience she knows just how to handle your session, and preserve these precious, fleeting moments through her gorgeous images. Visit www.s18newborns.com to see more.
Weddings & Portraits. Still here, our parent site www.s18photography.com (or www.s18photo.com), will re-focus on our work in photographing people’s weddings (with some portraits & other like-themed work sprinkled in). To best understand our focus, you should understand just why you should hire Fred for your photography.
Fred brings it. He doesn’t take photos… he makes them. Using focus & charisma, Fred can establish genuine connections and create stunning photos from people who otherwise might say “I’m just not that photogenic!” He is hands-on, knows just how to put you at ease, and his photos will make you feel amazing. Whether wedding photography, portrait, or even real estate photography, there is a unifying theme… Fred’s photos enhance the experience & they are focused on making you feel great.
Fred & Katie shoot ALL weddings (and most portrait sessions) together. You can read more about how their styles perfectly complement each other here. (It’s pretty cool.) Different styles & visions, yet a perfect combination.
Still versatile…? Yes, absolutely. But now, you get a little more of who we are in each of your photos. We’re looking forward to working with you!
Photo of the Week – 13/52 – "Springtime!"
I don’t envy the job of a children’s photographer. My wife specializes in photographing children, newborns, and families, but I mostly stick to the real estate and portraits. (We both do the events.) From time to time, I will take some shots of our daughter, but shooting photos of a toddler is no easy task… unless you like trying to sharpshoot a moving target! To get good photos, you need some serious patience! Anyway, here’s my photo of the week!

Spring in Marlton, NJ!
This week, I spent a lot of time at our home in Marlton, NJ. I had the chance to hang out with the family and enjoy the nice weather. Sometimes, it’s more fun to take family pictures, rather than just doing professional photography for pay. Here are a few snapshots I took while hanging out around the house:

Photo of the Week – 12/52 – "Rockin’ Out!"
I picked my photo of the week from our photo booth at the Resurrection Catholic School dinner and fashion show fundraiser at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom. This mother and daughter duo really had a great time with it!

Photo Booth at a Local Fundraiser!
This Thursday night, Resurrection Catholic School in Cherry Hill, NJ had its biggest yearly fundraiser to raise money for its students. Organized by their PTA, they held a dinner and fashion show at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom. The theme was “A Night at the Cotton Club,” and there were raffles for prize baskets, 50/50s, etc.
From S18 Photography, we donated a basket with some free sessions, and we held a complementary photo booth. This place was gorgeous… beautiful venue, and overall, we had a great time. Check out some of our photos:
