A few weeks ago, I did a real estate photography session on a nice 4 bedroom colonial home over in Edgewater Park, NJ. It was one of those days when the sun was drifting in and out from behind the clouds (not my favorite… I prefer the bright blue skies), but it was still really nice out… I’m pretty sure it was actually one of the first days where it was warm this year. We’ve definitely had a chilly spring!
The house was actually pretty cool, with a screened in patio out back, and a nice kitchen. Here’s some of my favorite shots from the photo session!

Every once in a while, the stars seem to align, and everything seems to go right at a photo session. This is exactly how I felt about my recent real estate photography session in Collingswood, NJ. Even the weather co-operated! You may remember our clients Dan & Carrie from their Corporate Portraits / Headshots session back in February. Veterinarians looking to relocate to Idaho, they first came to us for some high key, black and white headshots. They were very happy with the results and upon seeing our work with real estate photography, they decided to hire us again to photograph their home. The were, of course, looking to help it sell as quickly & easily as possible.
I was very happy to head out & get them some beautiful photos of their home. I really enjoyed photographing the house, and since we had a great time working together previously, I knew this would be a good experience! While I worked, we had a chance to chat about some of the home’s features. Their house had some really cool design, and Dan mentioned to me that he had done quite a bit of work to it since they had moved in some years ago. Dan & Carrie’s home was bright, colorful, and welcoming, and I am sure they will have little trouble selling it.
They even had a room with a Murphy bed… remember those things? – the really cool beds with the hinge that fold up to the wall! Anyway, here are some of my favorite shots from the session! Normally, I don’t post as many photos… but this house was just so cool!

Our friend Erik’s doing a terrific job this year listing homes. You may remember him from this portrait photography session a while back. Erik sells a great deal of homes, and we enjoy working with him a lot. He loves our work, and so he gives us a ring every time he has a new home to list that needs photography.
Recently, he called us about a listing up the road from us in Eastampton, NJ. After a quick call to the owner, we were all set, and I headed out to photograph the home. The owner was a pretty nice guy who enjoyed the outdoors and was planning on moving somewhere warmer… Florida if I recall correctly. His house was very nice, with a number of custom features like an in ground pool and a really nice sunroom, but the part that really wowed me was just how clean this place was! This guy’s house was pristine! I laughed and joked that he either was a really clean guy, or he had staged the place before my visit. He chuckled and remarked how he always kept his house this nice… In that case, he’s welcome to swing by our place anytime & lend a hand! Here’s some of my shots…
From time to time, I get a ring from one of my friends who sell real estate out in Monmouth County, NJ. There are some really great homes out there, and while it’s a bit of a ride for me (about hour and a half), I’ll take the spin out that way to get some sharp photos.
I first hooked up with a team of agents from West Monmouth around a year or so ago, when a mutual friend was teaming up with them on a listing for a multi-million dollar beach house. Their team specialized in high end listings and offered a premium experience to their clients. While they already worked with a local photographer for their real estate photography, they decided to start calling us for their listings instead. They mentioned they liked our work better and explained that they liked how we enhanced the looks of the homes. Even though our rates were a bit higher, they were happy to pay a little extra, because we were reliable, flexible, and a much better fit for what they were looking to accomplish for their clients… showing off gorgeous dwellings.
Recently, I got a call from an agent who used to work with this team, mentioning that he had a great new listing he would like for me to photograph. His client was looking to sell his modest ranch style home and upgrade to a million dollar home at the shore. He would need some great photos to get this one off of the market, so he could represent his client in purchasing his new dream home. I was happy to head out & photograph the home. Here are some of my shots:
A week ago, I had a chance to head down to Blackwood, NJ for a real estate photography session, and I was lucky enough to meet some really nice folks while I was there. The owners were there with their daughter and a friend, and they were very helpful while I took the photos. We had some great conversations about our children, and they really enjoyed the whole session. Before I left, they mentioned that they might like for us to do some children’s photography for them as well. We would be more than happy to do so! One of the more enjoyable things about our work is making people feel comfortable and happy while getting them outstanding photos. It never hurts to make some new friends along the way! Here’s a few of the shots:
