NJ Commercial Photographer – Photography Tips Publication
A few weeks back, the folks at the online publication Photography Tips reached out to us, and asked me to be one of their contributors. They had seen my work on social media, and mentioned that they had found it inspiring. Very cool! Photography Tips showcases tips from photographers located all over the world who work in a variety of genres. I was honored that they had reached out to me, and excited to contribute some of the things I have learned in my career!
NJ and Philadelphia Commercial Photographer
After getting acquainted briefly with the content of the other writers and learning a bit about their system for submitting my articles, I was ready to put something together. The publication is filled with some really great information by some tremendously talented photographers. My contact person was super friendly and helpful, and I have to give a big thanks to her for getting me up and running. One of the cool things I encountered was that I had a lot of creative freedom about the content I could submit for publication. I could write on any topic I felt comfortable sharing tips on, from pre-production, on set work, post-production, or anything else I felt was relevant.
South Jersey Photographer
I decided to make my first article about connection, a strong theme in all of my work, whether commercial photography, headshots, or portraits. I discussed how creating and capturing connection can really help individuals improve their photography, especially in a mobile world with so many distractions. I delve into establishing rapport with subjects, how to look for authentic interpersonal connections, and how the tips extended to genres of photography not involving people. In the end, I feel like the article I contributed came together nicely and really fit what I envisioned.
