Valentine’s Day Mini Sessions!

A couple of weeks ago we held some special mini sessions for Valentine’s Day.  We really enjoyed doing these, and all the little kiddos had a blast!  Here are a few of our favorites from the weekend!

Praul Family – Family Photo Session in Glassboro, NJ

So this weekend, we met up with my wife’s cousins for a family photo shoot.  We met up at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ and couldn’t have chosen a colder day!  It was super cold out, and we had two energetic little girls to photograph!  You may remember Izzie and Riley from Izzie’s 4th Birthday Photo Session and our Last Christmas Photo Session of 2011.  It’s really cool to have the opportunity to see these little girls growing up!

Freezing cold weather + little kids in an outdoor photo session = just about 10 minutes to get all of the photos done!  Katie & I had a serious challenge on our hands!  Lucky for us, the kiddos were good sports, and brought some serious personality with them!

John, married to my wife’s cousin Sarah & a really cool guy, had unfortunately just shaved off a ferocious beard he had been growing for months… It would have been pretty awesome to get that in the shots, but I’m pretty sure Sarah put a stop to that whole thing!  At any rate… we all had a great (but freezing cold) time!  Here’s some of the photos we snapped…

2012 Project 52

So here it is, the finished project!  A year ago today I (Katie) decided to start a 52 week project.  I had to take a new picture every week for the entire year!  I wasn’t sure if I would complete it and there were quite a few months when I thought about quitting.  Although I stopped posting the photos weekly, and may not have followed the “real” theme, I managed to keep the project going.

In the beginning of the year I decided to use this project to document my family (and my daughter), so you will see many “snapshots”, images from our family vacation and a picture from Christmas morning just a week ago.  Although I have decided not to do a project for 2013 I am very glad I was able to complete this one!  Enjoy a glimpse at our 2012!

Holiday Mini Sessions | Christmas Tree Farm

The Anderson & Filiponne families took the spotlight in our final Holiday Mini Sessions!  You may remember baby Blake Anderson, from the Mini Sessions held at Alcyon Lake Park in Pitman, NJ.  Between huddling up with his buddy Baby Jacob in a basket and hanging out in the dazzling fall colors, Blake’s parents were so excited, they decided to come back for a mini session for the whole family!  They brought their smiles along and had a blast!

The Filippones are friends from way back!  In July of 2011, they came with their new puppy Joba for some photos at the train station in Wenonah, NJ.  Well, Joba’s not a puppy anymore… he’s a big boy now!  Along with Joba, Patty & Mike are about to welcome a new addition to their family, and they came out to get some maternity images… They had a super-great time too!  Take a look at some of our favorite shots from both mini sessions…

Mike & Erica’s Wedding Reception

Mike & Erica got married in Key West back in October,  however, they held a local reception for their friends and family that couldn’t make it down for the actual wedding.  We met with them for some formal pictures in Lambertville, NJ and then headed over to Occasions in New Hope PA where they held their reception.  Here are a few of out favorites from the night!
