Unique Cherry Hill Home – Real Estate Photographer NJ

Real estate photography is really starting to pick up for the year, and we’ve already had the pleasure of photographing a number of really nice houses in 2014.  A few weeks ago, we headed over to Cherry Hill, NJ to photograph a really unique home for one of our favorite top producing agents.

The owner was really nice, and we spoke quite a bit about her career in the information technology industry.  Before leaving my 9-to-5 to run S18 Photography full time, I was a manager for some very large information systems, and prior to that I was an engineer for years.  You can imagine we had a lot to chat about, and some great war stories to share.  It’s always nice to really connect with and get to know clients on our commercial sessions.  Unlike our wedding & portrait photography sessions, it’s really a less intimate situation and you wouldn’t imagine you’d get to the chance to know folks as much.  Surprisingly, however, you really do have the chance to meet some great folks, especially since they are welcoming you into their home for real estate photography.

The owner also mentioned that she had just painted a good deal of the home very neutral at the request of her agent.  Prior to this, she had apparently had some very vibrant & contrasting colors throughout the dwelling.  She actually brought out some photos to show me of the “before” look.  I definitely thought it was interesting, and not entirely bad, but she was probably way better off going with the neutral paint scheme for the sale of the home.   Folks tend to have different tastes for sure, so it’s good to play it safe.  Overall, I really thought she had quite a nice home, and I thought her kitchen was just super cool… very white & super clean.  Here’s some images from the session!
